Cacao Art Ritual

Join us Saturday June 15  for a Special Cacao and Art Ceremony: Messages from Spirit. We will begin the evening by sitting with the sacred medicine of Cacao and tapping into our bodies. As we go deep within, we will begin to tap into any messages that may want to come through from the spirit realm.

We will start to express these energies onto paper with a combination of automatic meditative drawing, as well as more intentional and focused image creation. When we let go of what we “think” we should create or draw, we begin to open the channels for spirit to move through us. As we continue to be guided by the heart opening medicine of Cacao, the rhythms of music and by our own internal guidance systems, images will reveal themselves to us onto our paper and  we may surprise ourselves with what we are able to see, create and learn. Drawing, or creating with the hands in any form is a powerful medicine, and method to move energy and to transform ourselves from the inside out. 

Art workshop guided by Sarah Vacariello 

Sarah's work delves into character portraits and spiritual, natural, and cosmic realms. Lately, she emphasizes plant medicines on her canvases, using her art as a conduit for their visions. She narrates her own and others' stories, seeing art as a means to channel energy, assimilate insights and facilitate healing.

Cacao's Invocation facilitated and Music by America Maldonado

America started a spiritual journey to reconnect with ancestral traditions. As a documentarian, she interacted with global elders and traditions, discovering Cacao, which began her healing and evolution. She also leads a monthly Women's Cacao Circle at Ofrenda Fest. Motivated by indigenous efforts, America created Ofrenda Fest, a platform merging art and ritual in ceremony, fostering earth reconnection and communal healing.
