About the event
Ofrenda Fest Foundation has been dedicated to creating meaningful spaces that bridge indigenous knowledge with urban communities in NYC, particularly during Climate Week. Through these open prayer ceremonies, we will share ecological wisdom as we honor our great mother (Planet Earth) in stewardship and sustainability.
This prayer fosters multi-cultural understanding and respect while highlighting the valuable indigenous wisdom offered to address our planet's pressing environmental challenges.
Mayan ceremonies are sacred rituals in Mayan ancients tradition. These ceremonies creates spaces for participants to reconcile with themselves, transform negative energies, and make petitions for physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. On Sept 21st We will Invoking the energy of Nawal No'j That represents wisdom, the thought and new ideas int he maya cosmovision.
