About the event
Join us at Ofrenda Fest Foundation for the Closing Celebration of Climate Week featuring our third annual "Indigenous Fashion Show" with Leo Cerda (Hakhu Amazon) and music by the legendary Eric Terena.
Indigenous communities stand at the frontline of environmental preservation and conservation efforts. Hakhu Amazon showcases sustainable practices through thoughtful selection and use of natural materials, bringing heightened consciousness and ethical awareness to fashion industries—among the most environmentally destructive sectors on the planet.
This event celebrates the creativity and leadership of Indigenous peoples who are shaping our collective climate future. Enjoy drinks and browse original Indigenous creations available for purchase in the market throughout the evening.
This event is possible by Ofrenda Fest Foundation, Hakhu Amazon, and Tribal Link Foundation in partnership with Rurban and Hosted by Queens Council on the Arts.
