About the event
The kakaw or cacao ceremony holds profound cultural significance and is deeply rooted in the traditions of Mesoamerican indigenous peoples. In Guatemala, indigenous communities honor the spirit of kakaw through ancestral practices and shared wisdom. Its healing power is available to everyone in the present moment, offering strength, openness, and connection with self-love. This experience brings the delight and pleasure of simply allowing yourself to be.
Drinking kakaw is a cosmic ceremony between the earthly and the divine. With each frothy sip, you rise to the ether, sharing the sacred circle with intention and purpose to live the experience. Thus, we leave to those who come after us the legacy of healing and restoration of natural ancestral medicine, with prayers and petitions that allow us to have new beginnings, releasing limitations and everything that has already been. Breathe and live your beautiful and sacred reality.
