Join us in celebrating with the legendary Huni Kuin leader Nawá Siã at the Ofrenda Fest Foundation at QCA.
Nawá Siã Huni Kuin (@nawa_sian_hunikuin) is a young leader from Pinuya Village, known for his dedication to studying medicine chants (huni meka) and healing prayers (pakarin), along with creating original songs and melodies. He began traveling throughout Brazil at age 17, and now, at 27, his music is available on Spotify and Bandcamp. Siã embodies the vitality of the new generation, inspiring young people to pursue the path of medicine and learn from their elder, Kupi Huni Kuin.
The Huni Kuin will offer optional hapé, made directly in their village, for interested participants. Hapé is a traditional Amazonian plant medicine blend—one of the most sacred medicines for many Amazon Rainforest tribes, including the Huni Kuin.
