Women's Cacao Circle special guest Gloria Ushigua

In this circle, we embrace vulnerability and reflection, acknowledging the sensitivity that resides within us. Together, we partake in a ceremonial dance with the elixir of cacao, sipping from the cup of tradition and ancient wisdom—a shared communion that binds us in a tapestry of collective experience.

This Saturday, we have a special guest, Sapara Leader Gloria Ushigua.

Gloria Ushigua is the Coordinator of Ashiñwaka, the Sápara women's organization. Ashiñwaka is dedicated to defending the ancestral land and environmental rights of the Sápara people in the province of Pastaza.

So, dear sisters, let us gather in this sacred space, honoring the potency of our wombs and weaving a tapestry of connection that transcends time and space. In unity, in sound, and in the shared sip of cacao, let us celebrate the divine feminine that unites us all.

During our ceremony, Gloria Ushigua will participate in an open prayer for the sacred feminine and share insights on the important role of women in the Sapara struggle for survival. She will also discuss the crucial work of protecting the Amazon for the well-being of all individuals.
